Writers Miranda Spigener-Sapon and Ross John Gosla signed their first major book deal. They signed with Winterwolf Press a young publishing house. The title of the book is called, Charles: A Marisa Romanov Story. The book is set to be released in the fall of 2019. And today I received the news that the article regarding this signing of the book deal was released on BuzzFeed (Link below). The cool thing about it is that I was honored to do the photo shoot on the two writers Miranda and Ross. I then found out that the pictures had been released yesterday, Feb. 8, 2018, in the article of the two writers. I was also told that evening I received a name mention along with my blog post link, how awesome. Such an honor, very cool!
A little background on the writers: Miranda Spigener-Sapon is a film director and writer with a BFA in film studies and writing. She has worked on many different projects. Just to name a few, Miranda's first commercial project as a director was a regional PBS TV Series, Eat Art, in 1998. That aired on PBS affiliates in Houston, Los Angeles, San Antonio, El Paso and Austin. Miranda even directed the music video, Heaven Sweet, for National Recording Artist Laurie Foxx. Her film noir short Marisa Romanov went onto be a part of the official selection of the International Venice Film Festival and is now in development for a T.V Series.
And now a little background on the actor and writer, Ross John Gosla. Ross performed a one man show called, Desert Warrior: A Benghazi Story, which won the 2017 Hollywood Fringe Festival’s Producers Encore Award. He received his BA in theater at Arizona State. He has performed in many plays and student films. He has also starred as the romantic lead in the award winning play, The Flame.
